Expect some changes to access to the Roma Saleyards from mid-way through next week.
Starting Wednesday, 20 September, the main entrance to the Roma Saleyards will be temporarily closed to allow works to be undertaken. Alternative access arrangements will be in place for approximately 4 weeks.
Maranoa Council says during the work access to the Roma Saleyards will be via Billy Bob Way and a temporary access will be constructed off the end of Primaries Road to allow entry and exit to the precinct during this main entrance upgrade.
Traffic management measures will be in place during this time.
Motorists are asked to please drive to the conditions, and observe all signage and traffic directions during this time.
The entrance upgrade works, once complete, are set to help improve traffic flow into and out of the facility, cater for Type 2 vehicles, and complement the new heavy vehicle hardstand area and truckstop, which will soon be constructed onsite.
