It’s now open for Donations – The 2017 Christmas Hamper Appeal.
And Maranoa Regional Council is asking residents and businesses to support those in need this Christmas.
Council is seeking donations from people who can help by providing:
– Monetary donations
– Non-perishable food items such as:
– Christmas lollies, Christmas cake/puddings, Biscuits, Savoury crackers
– Long-life custard o Jelly, Tinned fruit (pineapple, peaches, pears)
– Tinned vegetables (peas, corn, carrot, beetroot)
– Long-life milk (UHT)
– Large packets of chips.
Councillor Janelle Stanford, Portfolio Chair for Community and Social Services says this is a fantastic opportunity to spread Christmas cheer throughout the region and help those struggling at Christmas.
“Any donation would be greatly appreciated, donate today”.
