School is almost out, which means it’s time for some holiday fun with Council’s Annual School Holiday Program this December and January.
Councillor Peter Flynn, Portfolio Chair for Youth, says offering something for all ages, the program is a great opportunity to experience new activities.
“With activities, such as acrobatic workshops, sport clinics and a reading club, there is something to cater for all tastes and ages.”
“I encourage youngsters from pre-school to teens to get involved in this year’s extremely popular program”
With the majority of activities free of charge, parents don’t need to worry about spending a lot of money to entertain the kids. Please note, all children under the age of 12 are to be supervised by an adult (under 10 years of age if you’re attending a Library activity).
Make the most of the holidays and attend some or all of the below activities and events.
• Healthy Cooking Workshops
• Christmas Badge Making
• Movie Trip to Roma Cinema
• Summer Reading Club
• Basketball Competition
• Netball Coaching & Umpiring Clinic
• Coffee Skills & Food Hygiene
• Family Golf Night
• Acrobatics Workshop with The Crackup Sisters
• Laser Skirmish
Programs containing activity schedules, locations and costs are available from all Council Customer Service Centers and Libraries.
