As anyone who has ever been involved in organising an event knows, it’s the planning that makes the outcome.
And Maranoa Regional Council has launched a valuable tool for any organiser looking to host an event or conference within the Maranoa-The Prospectus for Conferences & Events in the Maranoa – A Planner’s Guide.
Cameron O’Neil, Portfolio Chair for Economic Development and Events says the Planner’s Guide will assist in expanding tourism opportunities, promoting and showcasing the Maranoa region for locations to hold a wide range of conferences, conventions, exhibitions, symposiums, sporting competitions and other industry events.
Councillor O’Neil is inviting intersted people to attend a launch event for the guide.
“This guide will include all the relevant information needed when planning an event. The launch will be held at Royal on Ninety-Nine, McDowall Street, Roma on Monday, 27 August 2018 from 6pm – 7pm with special guest Mayor Mark Jamieson, President of the Local Government Association of Queensland.”
All residents are invited to attend the official launch.
