Man killed, family of five in serious crash on Warrego Hwy

UPDATE: The female driver of the vehicle was transported to Toowoomba Base Hospital and the three children have been airlifted to the Lady Cilento Hospital.

Emergency services report that the woman and children are all in a serious but stable conditions.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.

 

 

10.20 am: A man has been killed and four other people are seriously inured after a single vehicle rollover on the Warrego Highway.

The crash  occurred 15 km east of Wallumbilla about 8 am Friday March 11.

The man reportedly died at the scene.

Emergency services are treating a woman and three children, aged between 7 and 11.

The woman and children are reportedly in a stable condition and one child is being treated for serious injuries.

A rescue helicopters is on the scene, with another one arriving shortly.

The Warrego Highway remains closed in both directions  as emergency services treat the injured and work to clear the wreckage.
