Researchers at the University of the Sunshine Coast are seeking people in regional and remote areas to take part in research project investigating how homes and communities cope with diabetes management.
Researchers say the study involves volunteers responding to one SMS/Mobile text message or email each day for 30 days.
To volunteer participants must be at least 18 years old and have a diagnosis of diabetes mellitus-type 1 or 2.
If you’re interested, please contact Tori Brodie on [email protected] or Dr Karen Broome on 5456 5163.
The results of the research will be used to help inform practitioners of some of the issues and difficulties people in regional and remote areas face in managing the diabetes.
