The much-anticipated program for the Maranoa Food and Fire Festival is out and Councillor Cameron O’Neil, Portfolio Chair for Events says everyone needs to grab some of the fun.
Councillor O’Neil says event organizers have worked hard to ensure there are activities and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy on Saturday.
Highlights from the program include cooking demonstrations with celebrity chef Alastair McLeod, a variety of culturally diverse food stalls, an action-packed Kids’ Zone, and a licensed area with international beer and wine.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for the region to get together and have a great time, all while enjoying local entertainment, a spectacular fire show and delicious food.”
Entry is free, with it all kicking off on Saturday, 12 August from 3pm – 9pm at the Big Rig.
The program can be downloaded at: www.maranoa.qld.gov.au.
The Maranoa Food and Fire Festival is proudly presented by the Maranoa Regional Council with the support of Platinum Sponsor Santos GLNG.
