It was a meeting of past and present as Mitchell Shire Hall was packed for the Mitchell Show Centenary Ball.
Past residents were reunited with those who haven’t left and there was plenty of catching up to do!
The night also marked the launch of the book, 100 Mitchell Shows; a collation of stories through the years.
As guests flicked through the pages, there were many familiar faces and names to be found; a testament to the true community spirit of the show.
But no centenary celebration would be complete without a barn dance or two!
The hall came alive as guests danced the Pride of Erin and Gypsy Tap well into the night.
We’ll have all the details from the night in this week’s Maranoa Regional Report but in the mean time, take a look at a few snaps of the fun from the night.
