Wild Dog Fencing Joins the Federal Election Campaign

Wild dogState Agriculture Minister Leanne Donaldson is calling on the coalition Government to stump up and match the Federal ALP promise today to provide and match Queensland’s additional $5 million for wild dog fencing in western Queensland.

“Today the Shadow Minister for Agriculture Joel Fitzgibbon has confirmed that a Federal Labor Government will match that $5 million.”

“This is a program that is in high demand and additional funding will be warmly received by producers.”

There is already a $15 million Feral Pest Initiative being rolled out that will be a huge boost to producers.

“It is great that Federal Labor has made this commitment to match the Palaszczuk Government’s funding and I am now calling on the Coalition and Federal Agriculture Minister Barnaby Joyce to do the same.”
